Window Roots Trips

In the late 60’s’ and early 70’s, my mother and father attended the University of Grenoble, at the foot of the French Alps. My parents’ stories about this charming ski town, with a sparkling French chic, excited me as a child.

Here are pictures of my mother, may she rest in peace, from Grenoble. She was then just a bit more than 20 years old. Look what a beautiful and lovely mother I have! My father must have photographed. And look at their cool Citroën!

Last year, soon after my dear father passed away, we went on a family trip to France. We traveled all the way to Grenoble to get closer to Mom and Dad and to the memories. The pictures show us recreating the beautiful pictures of the past.

And we miss them ?❤️
