On Tuesday, I tried to clear the clutter from where I work, in preparation for people to return to our restaurant.
I maybe should have done more exercise during Lockdown, instead of lazing around like a lump. I really wasn’t ready for the action.
After seven sweaty hours in the heat, I am broken. I couldn’t even pick up a pencil this morning. Ow.
We weeded and swept. Labored and lamented. Drank buckets of water. I poked myself on pin-sharp branches of trees, untrimmed since late last year.
We toodled around to the back of the business and found a random ripe tomato plant. We don’t know how it got there, but it’s someone’s supper soon!
However, the results revealed that our efforts were well worth it. The Boss is going to be chuffed when he chugs back into town.
I’ve still got to pop to the shop to purchase some paint, ut that’s this afternoon’s big adventure.
And the Bear just sat and supervised.
