Signs Of Life In Shenzhen, China

Before Chinese New Year our buildings were painted, today the crew finally came back after 3 months to finish the job. But notice that even the man hanging outside my window (I’m on the 16th floor of a 28-story building) is wearing a mask. So as you can see, even though things are opening up a bit in China, we aren’t back to “normal” yet.

Since January 26 I’ve been enjoying the quietness of life in my apartment and trusting that God will bring us through in His way and His time. I’m hoping (like many of you, I’m sure) that when we finally emerge from this, we won’t go back to “normal” but that we will all be changed. The inner life strengthened, softened, adjusted and focused on whatever is true, noble, right, pure, lovely, admirable, excellent and praiseworthy…

Take good care everyone. Sending love from China.
