Ruthrieston Church

This is the view my Daddy would have had for the last three weeks of his life, had he been capable of getting out of bed in his residential care home in Aberdeen, Scotland.

When I was there in December, January and February (just before Lockdown) I would marvel at the ornate stonework of this beautiful church, and offer a prayer to the God of my understanding.

Sadly, now I see from the news, that Aberdeen has gone back into what is being called the “strictest Lockdown in the UK” after having only mere weeks of release.

So again, I pray for a bit of peace for everyone suffering, everywhere around the world, but today, especially Aberdeen, the place that cared for my Daddy before he passed.

Stay strong. #StaySafe.
