In the Flow

Catching the accidental flow of the waves on my feet at my nearest beach in Cornwall. Such a beautifully bracing windy evening – with only me and the elements at play.

In that second of surprise, I felt like I was at one with the water as I watched those feet stand strong on that sand below – while the white horse sea simply nuzzled and shaped itself around me…

I love your beautifully written words! Made my day as i was pondering life here in Michigan. The change in season is always a time to evaluate life and whats to come. I would welcome being included in this group.

Hi Tammy,

Thank you so much. I’m touched my words became part of your Michigan pondering. I hope you do join the Facebook group as it’s such a lovely community. I’ve found it very heartening and supportive. See you on there if you do 🙂 Warmly, Debbie

Souls who love beauty in nature, in art, in words, and in spirit have a way of finding each other. Even when the finding does not happen, we can imagine that there are souls out there who are relishing the beauty that they are finding and would love to share. It is God who created it all, including the very concept of beauty by which humans are thrilled, and for that we should give the ultimate thanks!

Thank you for your lovely comment Keith – glad to hear you are a fellow beauty loving soul! This gorgeous community is certainly filled with beautiful scenes from nature that regularly fill me with awe. It’s also full of the kindest of people and that’s a real comfort to be part of during these times. Stay safe. Warmly, Debbie

Thank you for posting. Some of my ancestors came from there. I enjoyed yesterday here in my assisted living place. I am 91 and going strong. I ate in my room, but actually played a couple of games of bingo with a few ladies and then joined a friend who used to be an artist she told me recently and likes to color. So back to my childhood days! I would love to have seen Cornwall. Have a great day. I am now in Texas, but i was born in Vermont in New England.

Thank you so much for your gorgeous message Dot. Sounds like you had a lovely day – bingo and colouring are a good combination 🙂 I’m sorry you haven’t had a chance to see Cornwall but I hope you can feel a vicarious sense of it from my photos at least. I was lucky enough to visit your Vermont and Texas at the ripe young age of 15 as part of a prize I won to tour the US for 3 weeks. One of the most exciting trips of my life that really opened my eyes as you can imagine! Wonderful to hear from a glorious 91 year old who is so obviously young and fabulous at heart. Take good care Dot. Warm wishes, Debbie
