“H” is for…

We all have our own special places we turn to when we need to sense new horizons. Those inbetween times in our lives when we seek a window into a sense of a very different future. One of those places for me will always be the Rame Peninsula in Cornwall, the nearest coastline to where I live.

It has the air of a pilgrimage with steps up to the ruin of a tiny church standing on the promontory of a peninsula flanked on either side by the most beautiful sea and rugged Cornish coast.

It feels almost wild. Like the ponies that graze there. And it always seems to bring me answers when I need them the most. I didn’t quite expect the rather surprising message I got the other day though…

I found myself approached by a tiny brown and black pony. Unusual in itself, but I then noticed it seemed to have a rather large letter “H” emblazoned across its face. The weirdest marking I’ve ever seen on a horse. As we stared each other out I suddenly began to wonder what kind of message it might be passing onto me if it were in fact some cute pony messenger from another world.

As that beautiful baby foal kept nodding its funny little “H” head I began to imagine…an “H” for Help, then an “H” for Hello and an “H” for Horse. But the more I became intrigued by its beautiful funny little foal face I then found myself beginning to see… an “H” for Health, then an “H” for Happy and then a very wonderfully almighty “H” for Hope… ??
