In keeping with my latest nautical theme, I wanted to share with you my view from a restaurant I ate at whilst on holiday in Cancun five years ago.
It was in celebration of my beautiful Mother’s 80th birthday, and all three of her children and her only granddaughter (my baby) were in attendance for a week.

It was a magical time. But sadly, the last time I physically saw my Mom in the flesh.

It makes me reminisce about how very different my life may have been, but how miraculously the role of social media has played in my life, as well as many of yours as well.

So I FaceTime with my Mommy twice a week instead, as she lives in Arizona and I am here.

The only thing we cannot do is touch physically, but Ol’ Bear makes an excellent snuggle-buddy, for which there is no replacement.

So hug your family tight when you get the chance. Tell them you love them, before the sun goes down each day.
